I'm sorry but I saw it on E-bay and couldn't help
but think of George's John Voight LaBaron on Seinfeld.
The chewed pencil in the dash was soooo funny.
Buy where Sharon's been sitting for only $16900.
Maybe there is an ice pick in the dash.

That car resided in the car collection at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas for several years. It's now at a dealer in St.Louis.

Repainted green....it has a white engine bay. Comes with a factory hardtop..no O/D if memory serves me correctly.

Then, why would I spend $16,900 for a car that needs a total restoration?

That car's been sitting at the Imperial Palace for at least a couple years now. I took a couple photos of it when I was there last: https://www.theymightberacing.com/PhotoGa...236623883778146 (and there's two more images that follow).

The only thing that pushes up the value is that she owned it. I have passed on nicer MGBs here in Phoenix priced around $3500.00.

I don't think it does need a total restoration....it's just not done correctly. There is a photo of Ms.Stone by the car...the car is green in that photo.

But I agree....this "provinance" does not make the car worth $16k (to me).

I go to that dealers website every other week or so just to look, they always have interesting but overpriced cars with wonderful picture documentation. They had another RB MGB a few weeks ago that the were asking 14,500 for.

Note that the car to the right of Ms.Stone's MGB in the photo on your link is one of two MG6R4's that the Imperial Palace had on display.

I'm going to the SEMA show again this year...and plan a visit to the Imperial Palace collection...wonder what will still be in the collection and not have been sold off?

Rick,

You never know. I end up in there somewhere around once a year. I find that the the muscle cars tend to move most frequently, and the Rolls never seem to move at all.

When you're there look to see whether or not they still have the school bus yellow 911. I thought that car was really smart, and was very tempted to try and buy it.
