Shark Attack

Wow! I mean, <span style="text-decoration: underline">Just Wow</span>!!

When you see the type of car, This 22 second video won't surprise you at all.
 
Couldn't see the left-side mirror from that camera angle but wonder how that developed into a shunt. Yikes!

Open-wheel racing. Inherently deadly. And just as with Miata spec, you're at the mercy of the other participants' skill level. Nasty.
 
Used to race a formula car, Formula 440. I never had one go over on me but I did have one come up on me and get lodged on my side pod. We spun off the track, backwards, in the rain, in traffic. At least with the SCCA, we were required to have arm restraints so all my appendages were kept inside the cage.

Underwear didn't get off as easy.

Had a friend (Harvey Templeton) in a Vee get mounted that way at Savannah in the late 60's.....Left a tire track on top of his helmet....otherwise OK.
