Wanted to make sure all Lotus/Caterham (as well as all independents, as defined by D. Ortenburg) are aware of the gathering being organized for next July.

What better place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Colin Chapman's "4 wheeled motorbike" than on one of America's premier "motorbike" roads, Route 129 in North Carolina's Smoky Mountains.

For details, visit usa7s.com.

Note that this is marque inclusive event, so purists should tread lightly. For the record, I run a Caterham Superlight (gardenstatesevens.org)

ettique and such

I apologize for linking out to the sites. (Point 1 in the TOS, no less!) Not trying to divert traffic...just seemed the quickest way to give people the deets. Also, the "official" registration for the events is exclusively through one of the sites listed.

Sorry for the TOS violation. Won't happen again.

If your a legitimate member here and just want to post a link to a site for an event, that is fine. If you have an event you are hosting or know of that is British Car releted, you should probably post in the Events forum. The rule about the "Don't Post Links" is meant more for spammers who's only pyrpose for joing the forum is to post a link to some other site (usually some Spam site). If you have your own car-related site you can also include a link to it in your signature.

Al - nice to see you here. I am trying to see if I can make it. You said you were towing your Seven down. If I can get back to NJ at that time I may look into towing also. In that case maybe we can tow together!! July 7 is a bit late for me but lets see what happens.

I would kind of like to go, but its a heck of a long way from Oregon.

One of the few times to that many Sevens together.

Hey Bruce B.

Sorry again about missing you on that drive earlier this summer.

As for towing, I'm sure I'll have a trailer by then. Additionally, we have something like 37 LSiS vehicles signed up already (LSiS meaning "Lotus Seven inspired Sportscars") so it's going to be a pretty fun time. Plenty of time to coordinate...also, note that we have folks from as far as California coming. Will Oregon be next?

Hey Super7, don't forget about the PNW 2007 in the fall of next year too. That seems like a fun one, alas too far for this father of two school age kids.

Re: Hey Bruce B.

If I can rent a really light trailer that a Ford Focus can more or less handle, I will really try to make it.

Otherwise maybe a nice local ride.

Bruce
