The drivers seat rails in my 66 E type don't seem to have a catch mechanisim on the left side and as such when I break hard the seat wants to twist. The left side slides while the right side is ridgid. It's hard to believe this is normal. Any one else experenced this?

On both the 3.8 & 4.2 Series Ones only one slide locks. The two locking slides with an interconnecting wire started with the 68's.
