Hi all,
I am in the finishing stages of a restoration on my brother's BN7 and needed some wiring information for a modification I am attempting. Basically, what I am trying to do is to replace the reflectors inside the conical reflector assemblies above the tail lights with a single filament bulb holder and bulb. When assembled and in place they will look just like the original reflectors, but will function as the turn signals instead. I thought this would be a big safety improvement over the original design where the two filament bulbs do three jobs: parking lights, brake lights and turn signals. My question is, how do I wire these things? The new bulb holders are simple enough, but the original wires for the turn signals and brakes are routed through the turn signal relay box. Anyone done this or a similar modification? I would appreciate any advise available.
Regards,
Cas
