Gotta get scoped. Historically this has never turned out well for other family members. :eeek:

Don't do what I did... go through the entire "prep" procedure before discovering it was NEXT week.
I was clean as a whistle, twice.:rolleyes2:
 
Drinking the pre-test stuff is dreadful.
 
My turn for endoscopy this week also, Billy, make sure they don't use the same probe for both.
 
I didn't give it (my first one at 55) much thought until a friend suffered a perforation... and was in the hospital for 2 weeks! Yikes. Still, that's a rare event.

As I recall, as I lay there on my side watching a color TV of the fantastic voyage, they said "you'll not remember a thing." They were right.

will be praying for you. I'm not too awful concerned for mine. I have a condition called Barretts Esophagus where the liner of the esophagus changes. I have to get checked every couple of years. One of those situations where a could lead to b which could lead to c which could lead to cancer. Too many "could leads" to loose sleep any more. (life's too short regardless)

BTW for the endoscopy, they will want to freeze your throat. I don't. as uncomfortable as anything for about three minutes but then you walk out of the hospital and don't loose your day.

The one time I had it done they gave me paregoric which was delightful.
I wouldn't mind getting it done again if they still used that.

Mom had some of the stuff. It's deffinatley the shizzle.

Used it real sparingly, "You don't want to get addicted"....:rolleyes:

You'd have to be dying and then she'd only let you look at the bottle...:smirk:
