Way way back in 1970, before i bought my first TR4A, i was so poor that all i could afford for transportation was a BSA 441 Victor Special  . The gentleman who sold me the bike gave me tube of Semichrome polish. It made that BSA casting look like chrome and kept the rims and exhaust like new ...except for a nice blue and orange color near the head. i loved that  Anyway, if you have not tried Semichrome on your TR chrome, its well worth it. It protects and polishes metal very well. just went over my chrome on the new TR250 today and it made a huge difference.

I also had great results using Meguire's Plastx polish on the plastic lenses. They went from fair, hazy and dull, to looking like new.
