I don't know much about selling cars
and I have a 77 XJ-S that needs a motor what kind
of value is is in something like that
the body is fair and needs cosmetics there is a picture
in the rides

This is probably a steal but a customer of mine bought a 77 XJS with average cosmetics but no rust for $500. It took about $1000 to make it run satisfactorily. There were a lot of XJS coups made and the earlier models are gas guzzlers. The market is "take what you can get." If it truly needs a motor, the cost of overhaul is $10K.
