I hate to part with these vehicles, but need to do-
the "right thing".My Wife has a trip planned, but will lose
her big deposit,if she doesn't come up with airfare.
I've got "stuff" around here (Chevy/TR6),& could pay
off Visa/my personal bills,& help her out.
She deserves a break - where do I go from here?
I'm sorry to waste your time, but I need to make a decision.

Having stuff we use is fun. But having stuff that just sits around isn't. And being in debt and unable to enjoy life is a *real* downer.

Not sure I understand putting a big deposit down for a trip, but not having the airfare.

I can understand it - you put a deposit down, but later circumstances change. Lot's of that going around these days!

Supporting your wife would always seem to be a good thing, especially if your marriage is a pretty good one (or maybe even if it isn't).

If you sell the cars and help her, she'll never forget it.

I hate such tough choices . . . I have a similar choice staring at me right now, too.

Good luck to you. :yesnod:

Sell them, Doug. You'll still have the MGBGT for some fun driving, and the rest are just bringing you stress right now. Even though you'll not get top dollar for them it will still be worth it to get your personal bills paid off and be ahead of the game.

Set some realistic prices that will get them sold, and get them gone. I've gone through some simplification myself recently, and it's *very* rewarding.

The old adage of "less is more" is very true, especially in these current economic times.

Gee Doug,
If ya lived a little closer i would offer to take that poor old, junk, rusty broken motorcycle off your hands.....

Thanks guys, part of the problem is I was hoping someone
would have at least made me an offer on it,when it was on BaT.

Mark,

The bike's not for sale (for now),but the panel,Cortina,
& TR6 will be up for sale.

Doug:

I have never seen a Hearse pulling a trailer.

Help the bride and get rid of the dead weight.

Dave,

It wasn't a hearse - it was an ambulance.
Look it up on BringaTrailer - '60 Chevy Apache.

Gotta love Doug!

Doug, what he meant was, "you can't take it with you", as in when you die.
