I was driving my TR6 in Northwest Houston today. I stopped at a traffic light where some dirty and poorly dressed man was trying to get donations from motorists. He was holding out his ball cap and showing a cardboard sign describing his predicament. Without getting out of the drivers seat, I showed him my For Sale sign for the TR6. The bum threw his cap of money at me and ran away.

He might be smarter than he looked but he made me feel like Rodney Dangerfield.
 
I met a person at a multi-marque Brit car show that looked at my car (TR6) and said "In Texas, we used to hand those out to hitchhikers." I thought it was a great line and the guy turned out to be fellow TR6 owner with a great sense of humor.
