I took this picture a couple of months ago in the parking lot of a nearby doughnut shop. The text in the 4 balloons reads "I - do - cover - ups". The point escapes me, as does a comical caption.

"I do cover..." United Parcel Service? Uninterupted Power Source?

Each of those things with the balloon have an antenna or something on top looking like it is broadcasting or perhaps a candle?

Maybe a 'Maine' thing. I don't get it either.

A cover up is a tattoing term.... When someone hits 30 or so, some tattoos suddenly seem like a bad idea:
Tweety Bird giving the finger
the bald eagle clutching a banner reading "death before dishonir" that they got in the phillipines (actually saw that one on a Navy buddy)
I love {insert name of former flame} forever
So they go get it covered up.
Probably has other meanings, and that doesn't help explain the gray boxes though.

Hmmmm-think it means they disguise ughly cars so people don't notice what you are driving/or wash it?????P.S. Mickey if you read this HEEBERTS or A-BEARS Randi /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

I think they are little cartoon alien heads ala Invader Zim. Especially with the speech baloons thrown in here and there.
