Anybody have some tips for geting the retractors to work just right when installing the new Securon belts in my 78 MGB? Replacing the belts is the easy part. Making the right adjustment for the retraction mechanism is what has me scratching my head. Not quite sure about lining up the little arrows to make the pendulum work right. Anybody been through that? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

You need to adjust the knobs so that the arrows both point up, or are both horizontal. You'll know when it's right because you'll be able to yank on the belt and the pendulum will lock. Can't really describe it.
