**My second winter project**
Some time ago I bought a second boot lid because I wanted to add a luggage rack for long trips, but I didn't want to bugger up my current lid. Anyone else do this? Is there much difficulty in switching out lids? I'm not looking to do anything too fancy with the lid, but I'd like to paint it so it's a reasonably good match and I'd like to do it myself. As you can see in the pictures, there were some rust issues which I've sanded down to the metal, but I don't think anything too major. Any suggestions on how to go about restoring and painting? As with most of my TR projects, this is my first time.
