Seattle Trip
Another British car inspired trip.
We ( me & our 3-1/2 year old Granddaughter)
towed the '71 Spitfire up to Eric's (Eeejay),
in Salem,Oregon.
About 45 minutes up the road,I noticed a
friend of mine driving his '70 (White) TR6.I
figured that the trip was off to a good start.
I understand that he's got it running already.
Had a nice visit with him & his Wife.Saw a repair
shop with many B's arond it on the way to his house.
Dropped off some Cortina parts in North Bend,WA -
- just East of Seattle.Nice drive going North from there.
Visited briefly with Dan (europas2),near Everett,WA.
He has an interesting collection of cars, including 2 that
I've owned (a Fiesta,& a Cortina MKII).
Went back down through North Bend, stopping by for a
brief visit with Rick (RickB).Beautiful scenery just out-
-side his front door!
I also have an offer to tow a TD from here to Salem,OR,
so I'll have an empty trailer on the way back,if someone
needs a car towed.
4 days up/back - 1400 miles.Can't wait to do it again.
I'll take the '68 F250 next time!
