Found a pretty nice driver's side seat in the junkyard yesterday. Used the vinyl seat bottom,chrome seatback lever, and bottom straps and rail which were all in great shape.Good buy for $20. Painted the seat bottom with Dupli-Color vinyl and plastic spray paint. Seat on left is the one I used for parts.See attached

And this is why some of us are looking for used upholstery. It saves us cash for other things.
 
I switched to leather last winter and have a decent vinyl passenger seat cover, if anyone wants a good deal...make me an offer! I will throw in the driver's seat (the seatback on the driver's side is shot) for the right price...or a good sad story! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nopity.gif
