Seat Belt screw

Hi,

I need to replace the back middle seat belt in my 1996 Rover 214si, but when I tried to remove the existing belt, the mounting point is bolted to the chassis using some kind of unusual screw. It's like a star head but bigger with 6 points. Is this a safety screw, and where could I get the necessary tool to remove it ?

Thanks,

Tony.

Hi Tony, it sounds like you're talking about a Torx-head screw. IS it like
this ?

Yes Basil, it looks like one of those, I guess I just need to get the right size, or do you get the lot as a package ?

Thanks,

Tony.

Well, I guess it depends on where you shop. They can be bought as sets, but I imagine if you took a pencil impression of your bolt head to any good tool shop you could probablt buy just the one you need.
