Seat Belt Attachment Points

About 75% of my 1966 BJ8 chassis repair is done. (At it for almost 6 months now.) Before paint, I want to make sure the seat belt attachment points are squared away. These cars were supposed to come with attachments for 3 point belts, but I can only find two of those points - on the transmission tunnel and the rear fender well. Where is the third, or what does it look like so I can fabricate it? Anyone with pictures? And btw, I did search this forum with no luck on this issue. Thanks and happy new year to all!
 
The mounting point on my BJ7 is on the floor about one inch in from the side rail and three inches forward from the rear outrigger. A reinforcing plate is welded from the underside. Just guessing by the way it looks the plate is about 2.5 inches long and 1.5 wide. It's a bit of a chore but if someone doesn't have better info I can jack up the car and take measurements and a photo.
 
You may want to consider looking at various seat belt manufacturer's sites for advice on this question. While my car is a vintage racer and has a five point harness, I have also run modern street cars in track events and and have learned in several tech sessions that there are a number of companies who offer products and advice on the issue of how belts should be mounted.
 
Here's where the seatbelt bolthole is on a BJ8. (See attachment) Please excuse the fact that the car's floor is 6" lower than the outrigger. Since the new floor was made from thinner than original metal, I welded a bracket to the outrigger under the floor and attached the eyebolt to that.

When you finally get to installing your seat belts onto the rear inner wing ( fender) make sure that there is nothing of the fixing bolts protruding into the wheel arch or you could be looking at a new pair of tyres in the near future. I inherited the problem when I bought my car and could not figure out what the banging noise was when I turned the corner into my drive way which is sloping upwards to the garage. The vehicle test centre pointed out the damage to the tyres and from there all became too clear. My solution was to obtain some thin headed seat belt bolts and fit them from from inside the wheel arch, cutting any excess off inside the car. The detail of the seat belt mounting hides the cut bolt ends and the nuts.

Thanks ever so much. Last evening I visited the scrap heap (ever growing) of rusty BJ8 bones behind my garage, and located the old floor pans. Indeed there are two plates on each side, one on either side of the floor pan. It'll be easy to fabricate facsimiles. It's a bit unnerving though to trust that 18-20 guage sheet metal for an attachment point, reinforced as it is. Oh well, I could have bought a Volvo to restore.
 
On my BJ8 the inner wheel arch attachment points are two sets of fixed 5/16" bolts, protruding into the passenger compartment about 1 1/4". Not sure exactly how best to attach an aftermarket belt to this setup, but shouldn't be too hard.
