Hi gang,

I'm sure that this is one of those topics that have come up before but I am unable to get the search function to work to find the articles.

Does anyone know where I can get a drawing of the adapter plates needed to fit Miata seats in my TR6?

Paul

Try Tony Drews (tony@tonydrews.com) - not sure about the drawing but he may have the plates already made, and I bet at a reasonable price. I think that was the last project his dad Jack worked on before the Triumph community lost him when he crashed at Grattan.

Joe Alexander was working with Jack on the seat brackets and I know they did at least one production run that was sold out. Seeing as they spent a lot of time developing the brackets, I doubt Joe, and now Tony, would now give the drawings away.....but you can always ask. Joe's email is N197TR4@cs.com

The kit included adapter brackets and hardware necessary for the installation and was priced at $59.95.

Don't know if this still works
seats

Drawing is there.

Finally met Joe at Watkins Glen, he's a real nice guy, and yes he does sell good quality products.

Is there a particular year(s)/seat style of Miata seats that work well
with the TR6?

I am considering this upgrade...presuming I can ever get back on the road.

Thanks everyone for the help. I'm currently getting the brackets fabricated and powder coated according to the drawings that Don pointed me to. I'll let you know how they worked out.

I read that the 91 to 96 (97?) version was the one that worked for us LBC'ers, so that is what I fitted in the TR4. I am very happy with them.
