I still have time to seal this but it does not look like it was at the factory. Is anybody else sealing this joint before they paint the car? The joint I'm talking about is the one on the top of the cowl, it runs from one side of the car to the other.

I'll go look at mine and get back to you. That bulkhead shot looks like a pretty original car. Got any more pictures to share so some of us can see what a pre 60000 car is supposed to look like?

I have a boatload of pictures, let me know the area you need.

Keith: Your car appears to be very original! Is it an AZ car? What's the history? TRA is in the process of updating the judging guidelines and are in need of photos of unmodified cars. Remember to make back-ups of you digital photos. Don't ask why I know! :wall:

Frank the car is very original except for a bad paint job done many years ago. It spent most of it's life in AZ. I have documentation all the way back to late 1957. The car was dispatched to France when sold new and then made it to AZ about a year later. When I purchased the car the interior had been removed and then redone by someone local, but never installed. This is where I'm going to run into problems with putting the car back together.

All the original pictures are backed up, some of the more recent ones are not. I do need to get that done though.

At approx. $60/TB is hard to argue. I recently installed a network drive for our home computers. It consists of 4 - 2TB in a RAID 5 configuration and dedicated UPS. My "other" hobby is astro-photography.

I lost a 500GB HD about a month ago. I was able to recover everything, but it took days of hard work.

I am not about to be caught without a back up again.

Wow!!! way above my picture taking talents and computer know how. Way to much light where I live just outside Phoenix. Great hobby you have. I was just up in the mountains a couple weeks ago and love how black the sky is with all the stars.

Keith, as for the bulkhead seal, my 57 TS19909 has no sealer at that joint. The fit between the two is tight and nearly perfect, unlike the rest of my car. Any underhood shots would be great. For instance, the way the wires loop at the regulator is great. I'm not sure how the wires go to the wiper motor or how the excess is taken up where the lighting harness meets the control head wiring meets the main harness. ETC.
