April of 1956, off Key West. Notice an unusual feature of this Balao-class sub?

How the sub could line up so well with the helicopter's landing gear is amazing.

Incredible feat to be sure! Ingenuity pays off at times!:encouragement:

Beartrap* and I doubt the Balao class came with that particular feature.

Very cool story, good handling by the crews of the both the sub and the helo.
