Dana,

Welcome to the forum!! Congratulations on the J-H, they are nice cars. Knowing this bunch, you would have been welcome even without an LBC.....wish I was in San Diego though. Lucky bunch!!

Hey Dana,

First of all welcome to the BCF!

Now I don’t know any folks with Jensen Healeys locally (except for you now), but you can almost always count on seeing a few at local events here in San Diego.

However if you follow this link below to the S. D. Austin Healey Club they welcome Jensens too.

Good luck!

Welcome Dana;

I'm another '73 J-H Mk I owner, Vin# 13046. I live in Orange, CA. just a short drive up the coast.

I simply love my JH and I drive it as often as I can. Some little details... There were approximately 10,485 of the J-H's made in the three years of production. Today there are only about 1,500 registered and on the road. You own a fairly rare sports car as a matter of fact.

As well as participating here you will want to join the Jensen Healey Preservation Society (jhps.com) the monthly magazine is great and the web site is full of good quick answers and the large data base is very helpful with many articles to help us out with the day to day of owning a J-H. There are meetings and activities here in the South Orange County area as it’s where the Club is based (Irvine).

Feel free to write if you have questions. Best…
