Scuffed Leather

The red leather on the side of the driver's seat is scuffed from entering and exiting the car. Any suggestions for restoring it without tearing it apart?

At a recent club meeting, a member showed us how he redid the leather in his Bentley with a product he got from Eastwood....cleaned, smoothed, redyed...ooked like new

I've been extremely pleased with the leather cleaning and conditioning products from Leatherique (Pristine Clean and Rejuvenator Oil). They also carry the dyes, scratch/crack fillers, etc although I haven't used those myself (yet!). I did email them with questions once and they replied promptly so you might want to go that route and see what they recommend.

Satzman, be sure it is leather. Many Healeys were very good leather look-alikes. Some products will only work on leather because it is absorbant while vinyl is "water proof"
John, I could not find a mention of their product working on vinyl.

The crack fillers, dyes and oil are just for leather. The Prestine Clean works really well at cleaning vinyl though. My vinyl convertible top had primer overspray and embedded dirt that cleaned up beautifully with the PC, scrub brush and elbow grease when attempts with other products had failed.

Cheers,
John
