So this actually happened this past Sunday. I was out in the driveway installing a new window winder motor/mechanism in my son's PT Cruiser (The window winder I posted earlier about breaking the window glass). All of the sudden I heard squealing wheels and looked up expecting to see cars colliding (happens a lot on dead-man's curve). Instead, I saw a little red pickup truck busting through my neighbor's fence! He drove through their yard and plowed hard into a juniper tree.

Luckily no one was seriously hurt. The guy seemed intoxicated to me, but cops said he passed the field test (they didn't say by how much - my guess is he barely passed).

The road was the main country road that runs north/south in front of our house (We are on a corner). There is a very dangerous curve south of use about 1/8th mile, just where he ran off the road into their fence (which parallels that road). The curve is sharper than it appears and if people hit that curve too fast they lose control (I've seen it happen many times since we've lived here)

Same where I live. 35 degree left turn with stone wall on right. 4-5 times since we moved in in 1982, a car has failed to make the turn and plowed into the wall. I know the sound by heart.
