This is going around on a number of sites so I figured I'd list it here.
There is a petition going around that is an attempt to get the SCCA to limit it's work on the "pro-racing events" and return more to it's "grassroots club racers".
Apparently, many members feel that the pro-racing events are costing too much time and money at the expense of the "little guy / amateur racer". (I just looked through the signing list and see some of my friends listed).
I am not taking a side on this....but it seems like a useful thing to consider.
