So, I see this car driving down the road today, and first I think its an old Ferrari, then I think its a Jensen. I finally catch up with the guy at a light and ask if its a Jensen. No, its an AC Greyhound. What a great looking car. This one was so patina'd (sp?) it looked like leather, was red, and sounded great. Even had a cover over the license plate. I was amazed by it, I must admit. Too bad I wasn't driving the B.

yea...nice car! There were less than 100 of them made from 1959 to 1962. A little coupe with a real back seat and sports car linage. There were several different engines used...I guess whatever they could find at the time, but the Bristol engine was the designed intention. Many of the original engines were replaced by hot rodders. I had the opportunity to buy a very orignal one cheaply many years ago and didn't...I wish that I knew what I know now, when I was younger!

Way back when we cold've also bought into Apple, Walmart or Cracker Barrel

Unfortunately, I got into CB stock after the big $$'s! Got a friend (since deceased) who was in on the initial offering for CB - became a millionaire almost overnight!

I remember being offered a "groundfloor" investment in digital satellite TV... Man I could kick myself now. I thought it sounded like a scam at the time though.
 
Keoke - he was comfortable...old family money, Major General in National Guard, owned his own newspaper.
