Last night I committed to purchase a 1958 100-6 that needs total and I mean total restoration . The car is barely a rolling shell . The Healey is over 400 miles away and I hope to get it home within a couple of weeks . And then the fun will begin . I had to sell my 1961 3000 back in 1979 to help with the down payment to build my house . Something I have regretted ever since the day it left my driveway .

Best of Luck!!!

another 100-six is saved

I am always looking for new members to the Longbridge 2 porthead Registry
jim :driving:

send me a note as to what you may need? I have a number of items that are not needed for my Longbridge

Glad to see that you saved it. mine was also a barn find.
I would like to see a pic or two also.

400 miles in what direction? Where do you have to go to pick up the treasure? Good hunting, It's always exciting to bring them home. Yea, be sure to post some pics

Nice save..........long live the 100-SIX.

Wolf, glad you took the plunge! You'll get all kinds of moral support and helpful knowledge from the folks on this board, all you have to do is ask (you're on your own for the money though  ).

Jim, did I give you the VIN from the 2-port I'm working on? I'm pretty sure that you were one of the people I contacted when I was chasing a long head stud (Rich Chrysler provided me with a pair of them). The number is BN6L-O-34099, IIRC.

You can contact me offline if you need more info on the car and/or owner.

thanks for the replies , I am in the middle of NC and the car is in the foothills of the Ga. mountains . By the google map the car is 442 miles from my house . I just purchased a new camera from Best Buy on Wednesday so I will get sonne pictures soon .

Hey Wolf,
You've come to the right place to get help. Everyone on this forum has been great to get advice, directions, etc as I completed the restoration on my 1958 BN6 L 964. Could not have done it without their help. Post everything you have questions about here and you'll get a lot of help.
Welcome,
Mike
