Spitfire Save this 1974 Spitfire from the crusher

Really, I guess sometimes the crusher is best.... Oh well.

If somebody grabbed it, tore it apart and sold it off piece by piece on ebay, I bet there's $500-$1000 or more sitting there.

I got $350 for this Mk2. The new owner was pleased as punch with it.

That car isn't worth the $200.
Of course it is worth $200 The rear hubs cost about $150 each new. recycle one and you almost earned the full value of the car. The diff is there and probably good, .... Lots of stuff worth money hiding there.

Drat... if it were closer we might be interested in it for the bumpers... what a shame... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Okay Okay. The car is worth that in parts if you want to go through the effort. I did just that years ago, but I got an OD trans with it.

Those bumpers are prolly going to need re-chroming. Used rear hubs aren't very expensive. The interior is shot and the engine looks like crap. I guess I am too old, tired and too grumpy to deal with cars like that.

Now TR3, maybe!!
