Man, that was sweet. Saturday night at the drive-in with the TR6. That was the longest trip (60 minutes one-way) we have taken in the 6 since I bought it a year or so ago and the first time I've been to a drive-in in the last twenty years!

The manager of the place had to come over in the midst of all those vehicles to admire the Triumph. Not bad considering a Corvette club was there as well, including a '64 ragtop.

And me without my camera again.....

Are you sure he wasn't just checking to see if you snuck 6 more people in in the trunk?

Did he promptly bust you for beer? We have a drive-in about twenty minutes from home and try to get there a couple times each summer. Always a great time.
The best times at the drive-in have got to be the several years when TRF would rent out the local one during the Summer Party. It was great to look back from the dinner buffet tables located near the screen to see hundreds of Englands finest looking at you.

Wasn't aware of that one at all actually. This place is the Family Drive-in in Stephens City, Va. Right outside of Winchester. Been open since 1957, nice place...two screens.

How many people can you stash in a TR6 trunk?

A 205/70 R15 won't fit in my trunk. Had to get an OE-sized Vredestein for my spare.

So, to answer that question, I can fit one Vredestein in my trunk, whoever the heck that is....

I might be able to get an Inflate-a-mate in the trunk.....maybe.
