All coffee'd up. Likely to be fitting a Monza exhaust to Cowboy's MGB, do some prep demolition to the hovel in anticipation of t'morrow's framing and roofing-in of a "laundry room" extension... put it off to await 'cooler' conditions. High temps now stay under 90*F so no more excuses. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

... now where'd I leave that SAWZALL?!?!? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Good luck Doc. Gotta get to work on the Hovel myself today. I had my summer fun and now back to reality. It's 55Âş here though. Perect shorts & T-shirt weather.

55 degrees here is long pants and jacket. Shorts and T shirt? Brrrrr. You guys up north must have iron skin.

A balmy 59 degrees here and it definitely is shorts and tee-shirt weather. Getting ready for the Lehigh - Harvard football game, and then my granddaughter's second birthday party. Her birthday actually was yesterday, but we did not want to take away from Scott's celebration in Lower Macungie.... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

I don't think I wear a jacket until it gets below 40. Must be used to it living here all my life. I like most cold just not Fridgid for long periods of time.

Blood gets thin in the tropics! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

But you guys are welcome to come down at Christmas and watch the bikinis!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

A little rain last night, awakened me and I thought of my leaking roof. Anyway, it's 46 degrees here on the coast of Monterey Bay so I started a fire to fight of the dampness.

Off to a friends house in the mountains for some oak firewood then home for a nice grilled new york steak and all is well.

midday.. About 65 here. few clouds, breezy.. plesant. Long pants and a t-shirt. But I wear long pants all the time for workin', so I'm kinda used to them.
Nights in the 40s. got the windows open, fan on. nice sleepin weather. I aint touchin that thermostat till I absolutly have to!!! NYSEG gets enough of my money!!!
My ideal weather is about 70-75.. light breeze,
It's off to the tropics tomorrow though.....

Got the Moza system kinda-sorta fitted JUST as the afternoon rain started. Not as neat as it shoulda been. It's MacGyver'd up and will stay in place until we get all the fiddly bits to set it up right and proper. The thing came with NO hardware but two stancard muffler clamps. The intermediate pipe on this thing is a real POS so that is also on the "next order" list.

I miss Stebro.

Went to Wings & Wheels in Topping, Virginia today. Weather was great. Lots of classic and antique cars, boats, and airplanes (plus a few helicopters). The British cars were out in forcce with plenty of MGs, Triumphs, Jaguars, Lotus, one Austin Healey and a few Morgans. A biplane was flying anbd giving rides. Lot's of fun.

Doc, I'll be passin ya by at about 30,000 ft around 3 or so tomorrow. Do ya want me to toss some exhaust hardware out for ya?? I could rig it to a little parachute.... Now how do ya open these durn windas???

rain? what is "rain"?

Our last wet sky droppings were back in June.
