Sandblasted heat shield pic, need opinions

The heat shield came out pretty nice. Going to paint it tomorrow. Probably use high heat silver paint. Any other suggestions? Guess I shouldn't clear coat it. All the insulation on the back is gone and will replace it also.
Thanks
Rick

Nice job, rick...did you find the heat material?

Looks good Rick.
One suggestion before you paint it ----
Reinforce those 3 spring holes in the bottom lip. I brazed washers around mine - seems to have worked so far.

I like the washers brazed to the tabs! Great suggestion. That'd be a good thing to do with the pedal return spring tabs as well.

Why? In all the heat shields I've pulled & thrown away because they were cracked, never have I seen a hole pulled open.

I've seen 'em chewed clear thru by the springs!
