Hi guys. Im coming to San Francisco and Las Vegas for a holiday from the 9th to 21st August this year. Any advice on what to visit etc (not the tourist stuff - I mean petrolhead stuff ! ) I reckon I will be allowed about a day to myself when SHEWHOMUSTBEOBEYED will be otherwise occupied! Thanks in advance Neil

BRILLIANT. I visited Pebble Beach last time I was in san Francisco (my wife is a golfer) and loved it! I have seen the blackhawk collection already so the Monterey historic sounds really good the best old car events i have ever attended have been at Goodwood. Monterey seems to have the same "atmosphere"

Don't forget the pre-historic races one week before the historics. Free admittance, no crowds, all the cars that did not get in or those practicing for the big weekend.

I have a campsite rented again this year (Historics), you are welcome to share it. Typically we have about 3 or 4 sites next to each other and about a dozen or so gear heads. Let me know and I'll bring some extra camping kit.

I have pictures up on my site. Go to www.bighly.com click car photos then Monterey Historics.

Thanks Bighly, a really generous offer. It looks like the historic weekend is when we will have free time but thanks anyway. Like your website by the way
