Many of you may be familiar with Sam Posey the racing driver. These day, he's often on TV as a commentator for various races. And yes, he likes British cars (although as a child of means, he talked his doting mother into buying him a used Gullwing when he was 16.......and then he had his neighbour, John Fitch teach him to drive it!)
Anyway, I was surprised to read (in Classic Motorsports magazine) that Sam is also a model train fan. And he has written a book on the subject. Some of Sam's interest is born from medical limitations that prevent him from active racing these days (he has Parkinson's). But it's great to see some of his passion in this new part of his life. I'll probably never own a nice model train layout, but I do appreciate them.
