I have a line on a 73 GT6 located in Salem Ohio. The price is right and the owner seems pretty straight. I would love to have someone take a look for me. I am glad to pay for time and travel. Please let me know if you can help or if you think you know someone who might.

I'd check with the local LBC clubs, maybe in a big city near Salem. Try the Triumph, MG or British car club websites and contact folks there.

For example, NASS (North American Spitfire Squadron) has a long list of folks all over the nation who may inspect cars, usually free of charge.

Try local car clubs, you might get lucky.
 
There are 2 Salem, Ohio cities. One near Youngstown and the other over by Columbus.
 
Salem is in northeast Ohio, near Warren and Youngstown. Maybe Scott Harper at Team Triumph would be able to help you.
