A good friend and fellow NAMI volunteer, Dianne DiAngeles, lost her battle with cancer yesterday. Dianne was a long-time NAMI supporter and one of our teachers for the 12-week Family-to-Family education course. Up until she fell ill she was also one of our State trainers who trained new Family-to-Family teachers from all over New Mexico.
I was very sad to learn of her passing yesterday. She was one of the good guys and gave selflessly of her time to help others. :sorrow:
