I know that this is bare knuckles talk but I was sprucing up my old '91 240 (275,000 miles, no rust and just as strong as the day it left Sweden) Volvo this afternoon and realized just how much I respected that old B-230 engine. After a while the horrible thought crept into my mind that such a smooth and bullet proof motor might be a viable alternative if I ever ran across a really good GT that needed an engine.

Has anyone here ever done or seen a swap of a B-23 or B-230 lump into an MG?

Jack
