I've noticed that my points are building up! The question is, can we cash them in for S&H Green stamps? I need a new coffee pot!

I used to look forward to pasting them into the book for my mom.

Just funning! Elliot, Are they still around? I haven't heard of them in years. I know that they were a popular item in our house. :thumbsup2:

My goodness, how time flies! I just read they folded up in the 80s! :rolleyes2:

Like the hair in my head they are long gone ;)

My mom and dad's first TV set was bought with them.

The one vivid memory of Green Stamps was the seaplane on the back of the redemption catalogue. I remember I kept asking (begging) my mom to save 300,000 books so we could cash them in for the seaplane.

Mom and Dad collected S&H green stamps as well as (unfortunately in retrospect) Raleigh Coupons!

My wife and I grew up about 50 miles apart, in the same state (on the same lakefront), but she had never heard of S&H Green Stamps.

I remember the day we cleaned out the desk where we kept them. My older sisters tell me that my mother got a fair amount of dinnerware and glassware from them. I'm pretty sure we each claimed a set when we cleaned out the house.

Thanks Paul. Allied Stamp Company in Sand Springs OK printed S&H stamps.

So you're closer to S&H than you thought!

We have some full books in a cigar box around here ....somewhere.

We have a small wheelbarrow that I inherited from my MOM.
She told me that she got it with Blue Chip Stamps, which would be
at least in the '70's.
Unfortunately, the frame finally gave out by the wheel.I was amazed
that it lasted that long, especially since it was stored outside.
I'm having a hard time parting with it,but it really needs to be recycled.

Got a first baseman’s mitt from them when I was 13!
