Well I know you all wanted more, and I was getting email asking about it so I thought I would make a post. While you all try to figure out what I was talking about and why I did tell you I would type the full event.
Okay, well it was cold but not cold off the bat. It depends on who you ask.
Ryan got here earlier so I did not get a chance to have the heaters running and well I did not wake up like
I wanted a couple of hours early so it was not as warmed as I hope for it to be off the bat.
We pretty much got down to business, went to O”Reallys got what we needed and came back.
We started off wit the drive shafted which with Ryan’s expert talents and my novelist gear changing got it done in good time.
Then Ryan and I started on the exhaust with I had problems with one stud and we got that a rolling.
Got most of it choked up and ready to go.
Then we start the fiasco of it all, The Carb.
Well, me stupid stupid I took it apart when I took it off; I know I know I’m dumb.
So Ryan and I broke out a manual all compare, while Ryan was doing that because I can’t stand not doing any thing. I installed the Gear shift and the interior parts. Sadly Ryan finished before me I had a set back with the cover and gear shift boot, my daddy and I put way to many staple in it.
After that Steven my friend came by, and he helped. A little work the rest criticizing me, actually a lot of that.
Ryan and I went to get some bolts for the Alt and a new radiator hoses cause I accidentally sent it off to a guy, not the hose but the cap.
We got that done, yes its not factory looking it’s a 13inch adjustable hose. It will work for now: Now that’s Keenanism yea, not as great as John Mooreism.”
Then, Ryan and Steve rebut on new nuts to the manifold – engine, while I did, I don’t know what but I was doing some thing. O yea getting FOOD for us.
After that NO Joke and don’t laugh we spent a whole good hour looking for the connecting bracket for the alt to the engine. We found it once we gave up I happened to spot it after we cleaned the garage and digged every where on a wire on the wiring harness.
The get this we mess place the new belt, yea two things in one day, some odds where against guys eh.
My dad went out with the old one and the guy at the store some how talked him in to buying the wrong size a whole inch off.
So basically that’s where we where shot down out. We filled her up will oil and antifreeze and plugged a few whole” its look very inter resting, pipes with a bolt in it and claps.”
Backed up, Liz make some of her good pacaia bread and gave Ryan a snack pack and Said thank you walk with him to the car and he drove off in the sun set, my car guru.
I would like to than Ryan Reese again for another learning, fun filled experience, He’s helping me out a lot. Ryan’s a good guy; I’m very lucky and thankful to have his help.
