Rut Roh! Not Good

I just heard that they evacuated the people who work there.
 
I have a Friend of mine (& an MG owner) who lives
near there,& he sent me an email saying that he's staying as
long as he safely can,but is worried about looters also.
What kind of low life would do that?
 
My sister has a place now within about 3 miles of the lava... but, thankfully, is back home for the summer (and not there).

Indeed! Mother Nature is going to do what Mother Nature is going to do! Imagine if there were another Krakatoa - there would be no more Hawaii.
 
Good thing it isn't nuclear.
 
Seems it may have stopped with the development of some sort of natural lava barrier.
In the past, there have been attempts to stop the advance by pouring huge amount of water on the oncoming front... only to have it divert to someplace where it was also unwanted.
