Rusty brake rotors

I have new brake rotors and recently had to drive through the rain. They are now rusted around the hub and look terrible through the spokes. Any suggestions on how to remedy the situation?

Thanks!

-Rob

Paint the hub section and edge of the disc with silver hammerite smooth, it seems to work well on discs. I am assuming here that you can get hammerite in the US as I am in the UK

Rustoleum or high temp engine paint on this side of the pond will do it too. However, Hammerite although pricey is readily available here in the US .--Keoke

So, to be clear, I should mask off the rotor and paint the hub silver? How would you suggest I treat the rust first before painting the hubs?

Thanks very much.

Remove as much of the Heavy rust as you can with wire brush ETC. Optional. but you can apply a rust converter to the remains and then paint.-Fwiw--Keoke
