Rust Repair on Suspension of my 8

PATR8

I have noticed a little waggle on the 8 when on hard acceleration so I went ahead and swapped out the last two rubber bushings for the new polys I got from Woody and then I noticed a soft spot (does not look like a lot of rust but definately softened it) on the mounting site for the rear lower trailing ( I beleive that is what it is called)

I talked to my local body guy who is stopping over tomorrow to look at it. He suggestions is probably going to be to cut the rust out and using my parts car to conduct a transplant and then re-enforcing it. He has worked on my FHC 8 before but not my DHC. Has anyone every re enforced their rear suspension and how did you do it? Any one with pics? Suggestions? Ideas?

I had looked at the spot after swapping out the bushings and it looked just different so pulled and tugged on the rear arm and I could feel a very slight difference between the two so I went to the parts FHC and realized how much more solid it was and the opposited side of the DHC. At first I thought it might have been simply the flex in the DHC I heard so much about but I played around I can even feel what feels like flex in the front edge of the where it slopes down from the floor boards and can feel that the metal feels less solid there where the rust is situated.
