Rust particals in gas tank = no fun

Not a huge surprise since she sat, but I broke my "rule" about pulling the tank and getting it dipped/cleaned/sealed before using it and am no dealing with the consequences.

Any chance I can just drain the tank and start over or time to pull it? It is bad enough that she won't stay running if I toss her around in the corners and the contents of the fuel tank are sloshed about.

IMO, just add a (temporary) sediment bowl and maybe a filter after that. Unless the flakes are so big that they won't pass through the lines, that should take care of it.

If you are having trouble with big flakes, throw in a handful of nuts and drive it around for a few days. The nuts should break up the flakes, then you can fish them out with a magnet.

I guess Marc must be one of the technicians? I only know Bruce & Kurt by name.
