Today, SWMBO & I ended up in Trenton ON, a couple hours east of Toronto. I went on to Picton to try to get a starter for the Vauxhall - which didn't work but that's OK - lovely drive in a beautiful part of the world. Anyways, the owner of these cars used to own an antenna business - so while he was on roofs and towers would glance around for LBC's and drag them home. Most are past it but, still a cool place to poke around. I think there is a good variety of marques!

For Doug

Not many Sunbeams in yards anymore

Oh Nial!

Ms Triss actually has an A-arm from this one

This might be my favourite - and still fixable!

That'll buff out

Triumph and Hillman

The object of today's affections - actually badged as an Envoy

I thought Joe had sold most of his cars, or at least was trying to... Most of them look rather far gone, but that Commer van seems to be in decent shape still... Never did get a chance to see this collection when I lived out east...

LOL. Even your post-title is Canadian. Is that the place owned by Joe Lightfoot?

The Cortina doesn't look too bad either. Haven't seen one of those in any form in a long, long, time. I used to have one...as a Matchbox car :friendly_wink:

We just sold one of those Cortina Mk 2. Great car but no parts in the US. Had to order a lot os stuff from England and it was expensive. I would like to have one of those old sedans, aren't they Jaguar Mk 2??

No Jags in the yard. Those are Austin A40's

Had a MK-i Lotus Cortina as Herself's daily driver for about a decade. '80~'90. Wish I'd never sold it. Found some photos of it last weekend.

I like the Commer van. That's my kinda style. I wish the Landy was a bit more complete. I've been hankerin a Land rover lately.

I kind of think that Land Rover is actually an Austin Gipsy...
