Russian cars

And Czeck, not Russian. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You can sign me up for a Lada Niva 4x4... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Now if I can get lucky enough to find one, the ones here in Canada tend to get hoarded by Niva fans, I've been told they are fantastic off-roaders.

That is a nice site. I'm a big fan of the streamlined Tatras - amazing cars!

I got to see one a couple of years ago when The Great Race came through here. They even had the trunk/hood/bonnet? open so you could see the aircooled v-8. Really slick.

Sherlock,

Have you checked out the ARO Crosslander? There is a company importing it now, and puting a Ford 4.0L v-6 in it. That and the price point make them very tempting.

No other Russian cars here, but once there were quite a few Lada vehicles. All but about one are ferrous oxide now. But then so are the Mokes and Minis that were here.

I don't doubt. Being an island, I imagine that not only does the rust fairy visit often, but I bet it can be a pain getting replacements for the bits he touches.

I especially like the Tatra racing cars they showed on there very cool site.
