Runnin' with the Devil

Ridiculous that they would not let her have another number.

The fool. He just needed to be told to look DOWN at his shirt... 999. No problem. :playful:

Once, when I was working as a bag boy at the local supermarket, we had someone purchase a few small items in the express lane and the total came to $6.66. The person looked at the cashier and said "I can't deal with that number" so she added a stick of gum to his purchases. The next guy in line looks at the cashier and says "I'm going to play that number in the lottery tonight".

It's funny how the mind plays tricks on oneself after nearly 30 years. My initial recollection of this story was that it was a priest that rang up the $6.66, but that would almost seem too cliche. Thinking about it some more, I'm pretty sure it was a female customer who was religious.

OK OK... so I forgot an "s" in "he" (well, sort of)! He, she, it... you know. Can't compound it here without getting censored. :p
