Rules about advertising ebay lists of parts?

Hey All (specifically Basil),

I have a question that I couldn't find an answer for in the info pages or via search. I wanted to check in on this as it stems upon vendor'ing and advertising.

I've been going through my garage and listing some random unneeded bits on Ebay. Am I allowed to put a post in the relevant forum letting people know I have parts for sale?

I run a fine line on stuff as I do run a web site that generates revenue (mind you, it's not much, and it's just adsense stuff). Or does this classify me as a vendor? I love the BC site, which is why I want to ensure that I don't break the rules and/or [censored] my peers off.

Cheers!
Jody

If you are in business (for tax purposes) than you would need to be a supporting vendor. However, if you just have a bunch of stuff you want to sell as a private citizen, the place to post that stuff is in our classifieds. I prefer not having folks selling stuff in the main forums unless they are supporting vendors.
