TR6 Rubber seal on top of grill on TR6

Howdy all!

Got a quick question about my girlfriend's 1971 TR6. We installed a new grill, and we're trying to figure out how the long rubber seal on top of the grill fits. Does it fit behind the grill, or in front of the grill? It seems that it won't fit behind the grill, but if it sits in front of the grill, it doesn't look quite right.

Sorry that I missed your question earlier. Doe sthis picture help show you the location? It's without th ehood, so it can be easier to see it in place.

My TR6 does NOT have one.
Is this seal something custom or
can it be ordered?

It can be ordered: I got mine from Moss.

There is a nuance to fitment: the seal can be attached in two ways, only one of which is correct.

I posted asking about this a few months back :smile:
