Recently 2 of the larger bank systems around here merged (my daughter is the lawyer for one of them during the merge)...part of the merger requires them to sell some branches (competition issues) as they would be too large otherwise...so, they sold/are selling several branches to RBC Centura Bank, a subsidiary of the Rotal Bank of Canada....if approved, the sale takes place in March...then, maybe it'll be easier for me to work with Canadian checks from you guys!
