Rover car question

I'm going car shopping this week and one odd possibility is a Rover 620ti. Bearing in mind that I'm in Canada and there is no dealer network in Canada. This seems like it might be fun. Here's my question. Where would you get one serviced? Land Rover? BMW? Honda? Any thoughts. I'd also love to hear some thoughts on whether it is even a decent car.

Thanks

You won't get Honda to service it, the ti had a Rover engine. The cars are fun in a quirky sort of way. I had one for several years and did over 100,000 miles in it. Torque steer is ferocious but that all adds to the fun. Great in a straight line but can be a handful in the wet, especially too fast around corners (voice of experience). As for servicing, they do benefit from regular oil changes and I needed to replace the head gasket at 80,000 miles. I think you will need to find a decent franchiseless garage to service it but parts may be a problem.

If you look at the car check its spec. The earlier (UK) cars didn't have AC and the ventilation system was pretty poor. Later models had AC as standard and a lower suspension and traction control that was supposed to have improved some of the handling quirks.
