Rostyle wheels

Any body have a set of Rostyle wheel they would like to sell.
Or know were I might find a used set.

Carl

Taz,

I have a pair of them that I'd be willing to part with (and know of someone with two more who could be convinced to sell cheap). However, I must warn you that they may or may not be straight, as they are notorious for being bent. If you're still interested, I'd be happy to be rid of them, and could track down my fellow autocrosser who has another two (from the trunk of her inherited corvair project ...).

I have a set of 4. They are straight but need to be refinished. Just bought a set of minilites. I would let them go for $50/piece plus shipping unless you know someone in MI to pick them up. They would be available 2/14/06 & I take pay-pal.

would like to have some, but do not want to pay for bent rims. What section of Pa are you in?

I have a set of 3 NOS 1970(early type) rostyle wheels, if you are interested, I can post some pics. $100 for the set, plus shipping.

I also have a set of 4 later style rostyle wheels. Newly painted and they have brand new tires mounted on them. $200 for the set plus shipping.

Yep, have several sets - round not bent but will need paint...$15 each plus shipping

I live about an hour northwest of Philadelphia. I'd be willing to sell those wheels for $10 each plus shipping. I'd have to track down my friend, and see if she'd part with them for the same price. They're almost certainly straight, as they spent 15-20 years in the trunk of a corvair. Mine are certain to be serviceable, but no guarantees as to perfection. However, let me say, on my car currently, at least 2/4 wheels are not straight. It's common, and I seriously doubt you'll find a set of four that're perfect if they're not NOS. This is why I race on the minotaurs. The rostyle's would probably not take the extra grip of the yokohamas too well.

I realy like the early type Rostyle wheels. Let me see if Tony can come up with 1 more. What size and type of tires are on the new style wheels. A picture would be nice. Just to make sure that we are talking about the same wheels

Carl

Older style ones:
The pics are from when I tried to sell them on ebay before.

Newer ones:

This one has some rust on it and scratches from the hubcap that was on it.

sorry for the green hue, it's in a green tent garage.

I have a set of the early Rostyles for my Midget...can't remember if there are 5 or 6 - lemme get back w/u

Sorry, only have 5 of the early Rostyles that I'm keeping for my early car when I next change tires

Have lots of the regular 13" & 14" Rostyles for Midgets & B's, however...

Thanks for the pictures. I really like the early style.

Just found a guy not to far from me, says that he has some wheels for mgs, let me see if he has any of the early ones.

Maybe we can do some business.

Later Carl
