I own a 1928 rolls royce twenty that in 1971 was re-coached to a boat-tail speedster. It came to the U.S.A. in 1976 and I bought it 9/07. After it was dismanteled and re-built in 1970, it was sold by Sothebys at an Auction on May 20, 1971 (lot 10). I am trying to find out who did the work and get some more history on the vehicle. I don't know how to add a picture so email me and I will send you a picture if it is helpful. first.maine@verizon.net

RROC ~may~ be able to tell where the chassis was bound for coachbuilding, but unless the prior owners supplied them details of the car over time, that's gonna be tough to trace.
